The Services Export Promotion Council of India is organizing Nations Cup for Esports in association with Esports Federation of India (ESFI) during the Global Exhibition on Services this from 25th to 28th November 2019. Sri Lanka is among the seven countries that have been invited to take part.
The honor of representing Sri Lanka was given to Mohamed ‘Ma$ter’ Mufeed for Pro Evolution Soccer. He is the first athlete since the official recognition of Esports in Sri Lanka earlier this year to represent the nation. Raveen Wijayatilake, president of the Sri Lanka Esports Association will be visiting India to discuss bilateral relations on how the Esports Federation of India and Sri Lanka Esports Association can work together to grow the South Asian Esports scene.
