Taking its first step into the competitive eSports limelight in Sri Lanka, Mobitel in strategic partnership with Gamer.LK, successfully launched the first ever X-station eSports League back in early March this year which turned out to be a massive hit attracting gamers from all across the country, as it introduced FIFA 18 for the first time as a ranked title alongside Clash Royale.
Mobitel continues to showcase its interest and enthusiasm in Esports and is yet again proud to introduce a new event called Mobitel Xstation Football Championship, boasting a total prize pool of LKR 100,000 making it the highest prize pool up for grabs for a FIFA tournament in the country.

Players from all around the country will come together at one location to fight it out for the number one spot and to prove that they have what it takes to win the prize and prestige of calling themselves Sri Lanka’s best FIFA 18 player. During the last Xstation Esports League we saw Dishan Nithrananthan come out on top as the champion for FIFA 18. Will he be able to repeat it once again or will a new contender claim the throne?
