The Video Editor will report to the Head of Content, CEO and Directors

Job Overview
A core part of the Gamer.LK media team – the Video Editor works with the content team to create all of Gamer.LK’s video based content.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Working with the content team to create videos for all Gamer.LK Esports projects
• Creating video for social media (facebook, instagram, youtube, twitch etc), websites and micro-sites, Esports platforms and television
• A major part of the production team for events – creating content for the big screen such as team intros, instant replays etc
• Working closely with the head of content to build Gamer.LK brand guidelines and enforce them
• Introduce new video concepts and ideas to further brand positioning and marketing

The ideal candidate

• Has a strong interest in video games
• Has a strong interest in Esports
• Good understanding of video editing tools like Adobe Premier or similar
• Professional video editing experience is NOT a requirement
• Creative, innovative streak is a must
• Proactive, motivated and a can do attitude
• Strong attention to detail
• Willing to go the extra mile to reach new heights

A core part of the Gamer.LK media team – the Graphics Designer plays the role of artist that puts the GLK teams thoughts into a visual format. 

Responsibilities and Duties

• Working with the content team to create graphics for all Gamer.LK Esports projects
• Graphics for social media (facebook, instagram, youtube etc), websites and micro-sites, Esports platforms, supporting content for video and info-graphics
• Working closely with the head of content to build Gamer.LK brand guidelines and enforce them
• Introduce new graphics concepts and ideas to further brand positioning and marketing

Head of Esports Content at Gamer.LK

The Head of Content will report to the CEO and Directors

Job Overview
The Head of Content will be responsible for working with the media team to create engaging Esports content. The content required will span audio, video and text mediums for news, reviews, community building and marketing purposes. The content will be distributed primarily on digital, with some content being used on non-digital platforms. This is a full time position.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Leading the content team
• Working with graphics designers, video editors and multi-language writers holistically to output complimentary content
• Creating content strategies for Esports initiatives
• Managing GLKs Esports social media portfolio
• Managing GLKs Esports web properties
• Article writing – English medium
• Basic graphics design
• Directing video content
• Content team performance analysis
• Conceptualisation of new content strategies
• Overseeing digital advertising (Facebook, GDN etc)
• Assisting with event production
• Digital campaign performance analysis
• Handling GLKs brand image and outlook
• Handling recruitment for content team
• Skill augmentation for content team
• Enforcing brand guidelines

The ideal candidate

• Has a strong interest in video games
• Has a strong interest in Esports
• Prior experience in a professional digital media capacity
• Preferably has experience in running paid digital campaigns
• Leadership skills
