The Video Editor will report to the Head of Content, CEO and Directors
Job Overview
A core part of the Gamer.LK media team – the Video Editor works with the content team to create all of Gamer.LK’s video based content.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Working with the content team to create videos for all Gamer.LK Esports projects
- Creating video for social media (facebook, instagram, youtube, twitch etc), websites and micro-sites, Esports platforms and television
- A major part of the production team for events – creating content for the big screen such as team intros, instant replays etc
- Working closely with the head of content to build Gamer.LK brand guidelines and enforce them
- Introduce new video concepts and ideas to further brand positioning and marketing
The ideal candidate
- Has a strong interest in video games
- Has a strong interest in Esports
- Good understanding of video editing tools like Adobe Premier or similar
- Professional video editing experience is NOT a requirement
- Creative, innovative streak is a must
- Proactive, motivated and a can do attitude
- Strong attention to detail
- Willing to go the extra mile to reach new heights
