Tweaking windows services the easy way.

Quote
Designed to help optimize your PC for smoother, more responsive game play in the latest PC games with the touch of a button, Game Booster helps achieve the performance edge previously only available to highly technical enthusiasts. It works by temporarily shutting down background processes, cleaning RAM, and intensifying processor performance. That means you can keep all the features of Microsoft® Windows Vista® and XP® ready for when you need them, but turn them off when you are ready to get down to serious business – gaming. Game Booster makes it simpler to enjoy the latest games and take your experience to a new level. All systems go!

Designed for Windows 7, Vista™, XP (32bit and 64bit)
Game Booster v1.0 Final

reading it right now. Kudos dude, really brill :D
edit: while i dont like to criticise this :/ I just want to mention that system restore isnt that useless. Well for you it will be since you reinstall windows every month, but for ithers it may be a problem. :D

I mostly hate system restore because of it's tendency of reinfecting one with a virus that has just been cleaned from the computer and the only time one will really need it is when one screws up ones Windows files, which isn't that easy, 90% of the time it will be due to a virus of some kind which SR will happily reinfect you again >_<

Please feel free to criticize as much as possible because thats the only way things get better :D

Hey man! I use diskeeper for defragmentation. Is it ok if I use it instead of Raxco perfect disk? Is it better or worse?
And btw...really helpful guide, I was not sure of which services to disable..and which to enable, before u'r guide came.

If you have a registered version of Diskeeper 11+ keep it, otherwise try and switch over to Perfect Disk.

is perfect disk better than diskeeper., had diskeeper free versions for vista and xp., v10 for xp works fine and is registered., version 11+ and 12 (2008) is supposed to be., but expires in 30 days and asks for an activation., tried so hard to find a working version but was unable to!

PerfectDisk is better, plus there are fixes for the latest version unlike Diskeeper 11 or 2008.
