Gaming Tournament for Charity?
« on: July 10, 2017, 04:30:41 pm »
This is an idea that I've had for a while now. How many people would be interested in a tournament in which all proceeds got towards a charitable cause? It would be an event open to all to register regardless of skill level, clan, etc (though there may be a certain session or so for pro/ clan level matches if it can be arranged).

What do you guys think? A lot of the details have to be finalized of course but I'd appreciate some feedback from the community!

Thumbs up just for that thought, because gaming nowadays are all about "bragging" and there's no real unity.

Don't know about the charity thing though, maybe consider "gaming in sri lanka" itself as a charity? Because there are many things that can be improved, at least until someone can host something as big as "DreamHack" locally, that would be crazy, or promote this sport even more for the unknown. :D

As I remember, there was a charity event like you suggested earlier.

Btw I am hoping to do that someday :D
but, that might take some years for me... :/
