PC doesnt turn off
« on: March 17, 2017, 04:27:46 pm »
Since about 2 weeks back my PC has been running into an issue. When I shut down my PC it turns of normally and the screen goes blank. However the PC keeps running like its in idle. I have to turn off the PSU or keep holding the power button to turn it off completely. Not sure where the issue lies. Any help would be appreciated.
As a side note, I've also been running into some performance issues lately. The PC keeps randomly getting stuck on Rainbow Six Siege and takes a few seconds to get back to normal. Are these two issues related?

It doesn't seem to be hardware related, maybe some issue with the Bios.

I would suggest you try to disconnect the power from the board, take out the Bios battery for a minute and then reset the CMOS by the switch.
That might already solve the issue.
