Another year has come and gone, and today Gamer.LK embarks on its 5th year in service to the Sri Lankan e-Sports and gaming scene. Last year was especially good for Sri Lankan gamers, with Gamer.LK being able to make our presence known to a wider audience - letting people know that we gamers exist, and in large active numbers around Sri Lanka. With SLCG 2010, we showed the country that e-Sports and Gaming is the future of entertainment and a viable sport for youngsters today.

As a direct result of the successes of yester-year, 2011 and beyond is only going to get bigger and better for the gaming scene in Sri Lanka, with new horizons and opportunities opened for us gamers to pursue. We have a ton of new stuff in the pipeline which we're working hard to get going. With the number of new opportunities opened to us, we are working overtime to make these happen. Some will come to fruition, some won't - but you can expect some interesting announcements within the year!

Ofcourse, all this success is thanks to a combination of wonderful individuals who get together and make things happen: The GLK staff who make sure the site and servers work on a daily basis are directly responsible for keeping this online community up and running. You, the gaming community, for taking part in our events and tournaments and being the crazy and active bunch that you are. Gamer.LK exists solely because of the community of gamers, and the GLK staff are inspired on a daily basis by YOU. Our sponsors and advertisers for helping us keep afloat financially when times were hard.
