Sri Lanka Cyber Games 2010

Each year there comes a time when all else stops in the local video gaming scene. Studies, work or even your significant other are given low priority compared to what lies ahead. The "Sri Lanka Cyber Games" is what's on every gamers lips, who spend months practising to be crowned the champion of Sri Lankan e-Sports. For a Sri Lankan gamer, there is no higher honor.

What’s new?

This year, SLCG is partnering with Sri Lanka’s premiere IT exhibition, Infotel. The Colombo qualifiers and grand finals will be held alongside Infotel.

Further, Colombo Ride fans will be in for a treat this year as SLCG '10 will be the first time Colombo Ride 3D, GTS Game Studios 3rd iteration of their Colombo Ride mobile game series, is played competitively.

If you thought last year was epic, this year will blow your mind! SLCG 2010 is expected to attract over 1,000 participants and 50,000 visitors - making it undoubtedly the largest e-Sports tournament in Sri Lanka, and very possibly one of the largest events overall in the country.

When is it?

Kandy Qualifiers - 25th and 26th September 2010
Colombo Qualifiers and Grand finals - 1st, 2nd and 3rd October 2010

Sri Lanka Cyber Games 2010 will be held from the 25th to the 4th of October. On the 25th and 26th of September, SLCG will head to the hill capital of Sri Lanka to hold its inaugural Kandy qualifiers at the Kandy City Center and will then come down to the BMICH for the Colombo qualifiers and grand finals from the 1st to the 3rd of October.

When can I register?
Registrations open on the 5th of September 2010.
