Oh that means the Host Have the advantage...It's Better if u guys Give Each Round a Map to Race on  :)

We considered both options and decided the "home and away" map selection was better. How do you think a set track for each round will be better than a track selected by the players at the beginning of the tournament?

Home and Away Sounds Cool....but the rules say Host Should choose map...so that means that he can select some weird map and win it with some practice while the other bugger race with him Clue less.
There will be only 1 race right ??

Each player will select the map he wants to defend on at the start of the tournament. If the challenger wants to practice the map, he can do it also.

Wippien of course :)

yup. (Y) however, we decided to have the games hosted via the pLan lobby since it's independant of what tunneling software you use.

eg: you would use wippien and your opponent uses hamachi etc. you both connect through the pLan application and end up in one lobby. It also eliminates the need to create your own vpn for each game and adding the ip to your configs etc.

however, that's the official recommendation ;D it's up to the players to decide :)

Rules updated :)

Due to the increased number of registrations, the first 6 rounds of GCRL Season 1 will be held as preliminary rounds. Any player who concedes 2 walkovers will be eliminated from the tournament immediately, and the next player in line on the 'waiting list' will be entered into the tournament.
