How to take part
An image chosen by the forum-moderators will be attached to the competition thread, which will have to be downloaded by the participant. It is in JPG format.

What next? LET YOUR IMAGINATION RUN WILD! Using a  photo editing application of your choice, put a caption to the image. (it could be a dialog even). You shouldn't edit the image like in the previous "hack-the-pick" competitions - you are only allowed to add text to it.

Example :

Here is the original non-edited image.

After editing.....

After you are done with your modification save the image in JPEG format and attach it to to the relevant thread tagged [entries].

Once the time period for entries has expired, all entries will be displayed on a new post tagged [voting] where members of the forum will be able to vote for TWO of their favorite entries.

The entry with the highest number of votes will be announced as the winner.

RULES:
Entries will be open for 25 days from the start of the competition during which time all entries will have to be submitted. After the 25 day entry period, entries thread will be locked and entries will not be accepted.

Following this, the voting will start on a new thread tagged [voting], and will span another 10 days. The winner will be announced at the end of the 10 days of voting.

Only 3 entries can be submitted per participant.

A maximum of two votes per forum member is allowed. Creation of multiple accounts to rig voting will be detected and dealt with.

Do not relate modifications to pornography, political or religious insults etc. (No abusive, offensive and crude entries)

The entries should be solely the original work of the participant.

Contestants should keep proof of ownership in the form of raw source files or screenshots of a work in progress for each of their entries for use in the case of ownership disputes.

By submitting your image to the competition, you are giving Gamer.LK and its staff all rights to the image, including the right to display, distribute and modify the image.

The Gamer.LK staff have the final say in deciding whether an image is suitable or not, and have the right to remove any images deemed unsuitable.

Going against any rules will cause the contestant to be disqualified.
