The point of SLCG is to have fun, isnt it? If you don't want to spend that time at the venue, why are you participating? I had other obligations (studies) so I didnt come. Anyone else who had any similar obligations was free to make the same decision. I for one would have loved to spend 30 hours at SLCG.

Theres no such thing a a "good" reason to get green. A sponsor simply decided to give a collosal prize out of goodwill and all you can do is get jealous? They weren't obliged to give anyone anything, and yet they donated this prize. If all you can do is get jealous, thats your loss.

They say the Sri Lankan hell is the only one that doesnt need guards since whenever anyone tries to climb out, the others pull him back down. I guss we now have proof.

Lol dont tell me about sponsors. I know how they work and what organizers have to do in return.   

We are not jealous Liquid got super prizes. No one deserves it more. But I am pretty sure all others are feeling quite  dissapointed that organizers forgot about other gamers.

As manager of PeRks I am dissapointed about the prizes we received. But we had a great tournament without any hiccups and all credit to the organizers for that.

its da responcibilty of da orgnizers to talk with da sponsers and negoshi.... zzz sadness.. and it was fun but there shout be equal priority for all da games.. ffs....

We are sorry that you'll aren't happy with the prizes you'll got (Rs. 10,000 worth of prizes). But we have always given priority to the actual event over individual prizes in our tournaments, and it is very likely that we always will.

SLCG isn't the largest tournament in SL because of it's prizes... it is so because SLCG is a fun event for everyone, and that is what we wanted to concentrate on. I understand opinions may differ, so let's agree to disagree and put this issue to rest.

Thats where I feel you're wrong. The organizers didnt "forget" anyone else anymore than the CS players.

I am not a famous character in gaming.. Anyways, I took part in SLCG as well.. I just playd for fun.. proness : noobness or win : lose.. I dun give a damn..

We all know organizing a huge event is a PIA and bigger d event, it is more likely to screw all or part of it.. Anyways, sure thing SLCG was a happening event.. But I did felt CS was given a higher priority over others.. It's just not about the prices you know.. We come and play in a tourny.. We lose or win.. All we get is some fun out of it..

But y do we organize a tourny ? Don't we wanna have some kinda competition, fame, showoff over it ? Are tournies entirely about having fun ? U could just drop organizing SLCG and organize LAN parties like DC does ya ? But you don't.. SLCG is kinda the main tourny of the year.. So step on it ya ?? I mean you couldn't help whn sponsors favored CS ovr d others.. True enuf.. But as organizers of an event u jst can't overlook it ya ?? As Skillz said, ur target was 2 keep an overall event which was fun and enjoyable to everyone.. U ppl did a quite good job (: But I mst poke my finger abit n say "ya u lost it abit ovr CS"..

anyways.. Wt's done is done.. (: We all can focus on ahead n stop this thing growing into some dirty argument ya ?? =/
