Day1 : DotA took the main stage on day 1 with all of its round 1 games and 3 of the quarter finals games being played. we witnessed some interesting battles as well as some upsets so here is a recap of what happened.

There were 2 walkovers (if i'm not mistaken) to hellz dominatorz and dark void.

The first game of the day was between fear of darkness and soul drainers where FoD showed that they were a force to be reckon with by making short work of SD. next there was a upset of sort where Unknowns which comprised of some well known dota players from the local scene lost to the relatively newcomers blood bath and beyond.

Then it was time for DotA to be taken to the main stage where WDF took on DC which was gonna be an epic encounter as these 2 teams are well known in the dota scene and share a healthy rivalry. although DC got off to a good start WDF managed to farm up their mirana and spectre thus nullifying the early game advantage that DC had and managed break through DC's defenses to score a win.

Fusion.Dota played DC-x and Dota Pornstars took on Blood Money and both fusion and DP managed to secure wins without much trouble thus booking a place in the quarter finals.

3 quarter finals games were played yesterday the first of which was iMBa_PoTm taking on dark void on the main stage. the defending champions of sort (iMBa_PoTm) made short work of the relatively unknown team Dark Void and booked a place in the semi finals.

Next we had Fear of Darkness on the main stage taking on Blood Bath and Beyond in the 2nd quarter finals game. the strategy that B3 employed against unknowns was not sufficient in this game as FoD managed to counter it very easily and B3 could not come up with a reply and GG calls came from B3 taking FoD to the semi finals where they will take on iMBa PoTm

The last game of the day was the 3rd quarter finals where Dota Pornstars consisting of some well known players from the local dota scene took on one of the leading contenders for the slcg title fusion.dota. Most of the crowd had gone after their respective games but the guys who stayed to watch this game witnessed and epic encounter. DP who managed to get a hold of omni knight in the picks managed to farm up their drow ranger and with the other players providing the initiation and the support DP managed to outplay the more fancied fusion and eliminate them from the tournament.

The last quarter finals will be worked off today at 5.00 pm with hellz dominatorz taking on WDF. this will be the only dota action today and the winner will go on to face the high riding Dota Pornstars in the semi finals

Day 2: day 2 just had 1 dota match since the other scheduled game was shifted to the first day by mutual agreement amongst the teams involved. We saw WDF take on the young guns of the local dota scene Hellz Dominatorz. although HD managed to come up with decent picks against the more experienced WDF they were overwhelmed by the early push strat put together by WDF. using broods pushing abilities to totally dominate 1 lane and then using rhasta and warlock to assist in breaking towers WDF managed to break the top lane raxes in just 16 mins. HD had no answer to the pushing power of WDF and only could watch and wait as the other 2 lanes were also succesfully pushed in the next 10 min period.

Day 3: the final day had 3 more dota games to be worked off the 2 semi finals and the grand final. the first semi finals were between the high riding Fear of Darkness and team iMBa_PoTm. although FoD promised alot coming into the game it was short lived as the game turned out to be quite one sided after 20 mins in to the game. So it was upto WDF or DP to stop the favourites iMBa_PoTm from taking home the title.

The 2nd semi finals which was worked off next with DP picking DK,lich,Tauren Chieftain, Viper and venge vs WDF sven, lina, potm, veno, razor. Although WDF managed to gank alot this game they could not manage to stop the dk from farming. on the other hand Razor was ganked alot and could not keep up with the pace at which dk was farming. after some key battles in the DP forest where TC and Lich ulties combined to destroy WDFs ganker the game was slowly drifting away from WDF. although potm and sven managed to get their bkbs the farmed up dk was now unstoppable and WDF once again had fallen short with victory in sight.

This led to the giant killers DP facing off against the giants iMBa_PoTm in the finals. The giant screen area was crowded around by supporters of both teams and the shoutcasters providing the atmosphere the finals got on the way. The picks that DP used to win against fusion were once again seen in the finals with them picking Drow, Omni, Lich, Veno, Sven(Sentinel) vs Panda, Tide, Venge, Lion and Mortred for iMBa_PoTm(Scourge). both teams managed to trade kills early game with iMBa_PoTm ganking and DP defending ganks and the counter ganking.

after an early mistake by iMBa_PoTm dp managed to kill off their heroes 1 by 1 pushed in to the scourge base leaving the base tower in deniable hp. next push came shortly afterwards from DP with the help of guardian angels from omni night managed to break both raxes and for the first time in the whole tournament iMBa_PoTm were on the back foot.

trying to capitalize on the early rax advantage DP focused on pushing the top scourge base towers. mortred now was able to farm up a diffusal blade to counter omni knight and panda farmed up his aghanims scepter. these two items complete changed the battle at the top scourge base and iMBa_PoTm finally managed to defend a push by DP.

The scourge then made their way roshan and mortred took the aegis after successfully killing him. once again DP pushed top this time with bkbs on sven and drow ranger. The aegis was the key factor in this battle and mortred was able to go in without caring much about dieing. with all the scourge heroes dead and with scourge creeps pushing the sentinel bot lane mortred and panda managed to make their way to bot lane but only managed to break the bot tower when re-enforcements arrived and managed to kill off mortred the other scourge heroes backed off. by this time mortred had farmed up a manta style and tide had dagger and diffusal. venge also provided the key life steal aura for mortred by having a vladmirs thrown in with her items with lion also goin diffusal, omni knight was made to be a spectator in team battles.

finally the scourge after gettin bkb on mortred and with sufficient buy back money on key heroes decided to push mid. after a huge clash at sentinel mid lane base tower all 5 of DPs heroes had fallen with all 5 scourge heroes still alive although some with no hp at all. they broke mid as well as bot and then fell back before they could break top lane as the sentinel heroes were reviving. the next push it was all over with iMBa_PoTM finishing off the top lane and GGs were called with iMBa_PoTM being crowned champions of SLCG

dam i wish my team was here would have had pawned imba potm, wdf etc etc noobs unfortunatley they couldnt get seats btw y team was me, loda, kuroky, pusher and venom dam GG ^_^

some really nice games and good work RED we played for fun and ended up in the final and gave TenSa a run for his money =P met new ppl and met old frnds from GG which i never met till SLCG and yes even tho i know sum of u ill still be kicking u from games =S soz in advance lol .and shanaka <3 =P
