what are the settings you use in the windows control panel. i don't have a problem inside games, but i have a hard time using it on the desktop. as in i can't take it to the right place without focusing my eyes harder >_>

Maybe you need to get your eyes checked then

G5 is 6K at Abans i bought one like 2-3 weeks back.

So what do you guys recommend? G5 or MX-518? There are different reviews out there. G5 is great in terms of precision, but some people say the tilt scroll wheel is a pain in the ass at times AND the thumb button is hard to press.

I searched 2 days for a MX518 in Colombo none of the shops had any stocks so bought i the G5 from Abans.
From my experience after few days you get used to the thumb buttons and the scroll works fine for me.

Too expensive! I was wondering if it was worth it to bring down a refurbished G5 from ebay for $38 or buy a MX-518 locally >_>

You must be using the hi speed option. For general Desktop use the normal speed
