I guess your cooler's bracket is still in the air? :)

Everything else looks good except you'll have to ditch Vista 32bit for 64bit.

Wow! 70A on a single +12V!!! *drools*

Awesome rig dude, but u'll need a 64 bit OS to utilize the 6GB RAM as 32 bit doenst support that much RAM :)

Check out mine:

http://www.gamer.lk/index.php/topic,2088.msg56101.html#msg56101

That's a nice rig. What really caught my eye was the Red Colour Fire Extinguisher :D :D :D

BTW, your processor is capable of running much faster than its stock speed. Planning on overclocking? ;)

Amazing rig, like DragonSkin29 sez, 32bit OS' can only access at most 3.5 GB.
Windows Ultimate shows 4GB in the system info thingy but task manager show that only 3.25 is available for use.

That's one SWEET rig man!

However, As someone earlier mentioned, you should consider getting a 64bit OS asap so you can truly enjoy the full 6GB. Theoretically all 32 bit systems have a 4GB limit but its even lower in reality on windows.

GTX 295 - drool

PS. the 940 has been said to overclock over 4Ghz - so have fun ;)

I'm sure he won't have even  3GB RAM to play with in a 32bit OS with the huge frame buffer in the VGA. Usually 3.25 is with 512MB VGAs. He might only have 2GB of 6GB in Vista 32bit :D

AFAIK, 920 also hits 4GHz. The Vcore isn't the problem, but the Vmem (or whatever they call it in BIOS) is the limited factor.

actually as the others have already mentioned, Overclocking will not leave any permanent markings or settings that are detectable by users. Plus, there is a lot of headroom in that processor for more performance and you can do a gentle overclock to get a lot more performance - maybe around 3.5 Ghz?

Having said that, There is good thermal protection in modern processors that will protect them from most overclocking related blunders. Also your mobo will probably revert back to a more stable state (if bios supports it) once it detects that it is unstable.

However, if you are uncomfortable with overclocking you shouldn't do it. If however you would like to learn, please post a request for assistance and there are loads of people on this forum who will take you step by step

 - happy gaming/computing bro
