You're right. What REALLY bugs me is how our local stores throw numbers at you and claim they keep "minimal" profits. Such rubbish. Half the time I see right through their BS.

I mean, they're retailers right? They have a right to keep a profit and as much as they want to! Why defend themselves? Especially when they do it by fabricating "stories" of "logistics" xD

ha ha so true. Some of them never give in to any bargain. some retailers even go to the extent of telling me the profit percentage [%] that they get outta the sale, which usually is a little low. XD I choose to think otherwise however :)
As far as Logistics are concerned i believe its the buyers decision. Either we as buyers can take our chances and buy it cheaper from abroad. Or we can play it safe n buy it here. :D

i know this is dumb but the XFX comes with a KILLER PACKAGING :) pure awesomeness.. Sapphire however looks pretty plain. But when it comes to ATI's i somehow prefer sapphire. Nvidias XFX :D
thats just my personal choice tho

I'm with Loshba...Sapphire is the best card in ATI chipset series.

i say EVGA has the best nvidia cards then ASUS( have url forgotten the Asus mars?) and xfx has the best ATI overclocked cards like the XXX editions but sapphire has good cooling technologies like the vapor X and toxic editions ...

For me its personally a tough fight between Sapphire and the XFX when it comes to ATI.
But if i was to choose the XFX it wud be definitly bcos of its SEXAAAAY LOOKS. otherwise the sapphire itself is prety good.
