Round 1

Round 1 has come to a close with the end of the grace period yesterday. Only a dissapointing two matches were played with five matches being walkovers or total no-shows. iFi of Team PnX took on Maxtor and came out on top with a score of 2 - 1 while Strider beat Veag with a single goal to none.

Round 2 of the winners bracket has commenced. We hope this will see more participation since the non-serious players have been pushed down to the lower bracket and the best have moved through to Round 2.

Round 4

We have completed round 3 and we're at the winners bracket semi-finals (=pnx= Leon vs [MAX]Samrox) and losers bracket quarter-finals ([FD]Viktor vs [DC]Death Stryke). Amidst a number of walkovers and forfeitures, there have been a few notables games since our last update.

Flashbullet knocked iFiboy into the lower bracket with a score of 3 - 2 in round 2. iFiboy then faced Viktor which resulted in what the participants called an epic match. with a final score of 5 - 4, Viktors win. That eliminated iFiboy as it was his second loss of the tournament.

Veag beat Dirkblack with a massive score of 4 to nothing, only to give a walkover to Flashbullet in round 2. Dirkblack also pulled out of the tournament citing time problems.

Samrox beat CB in a close match which went into penalties after one goal each was scored. Samrox managed to pull one ahead with a 3 - 2 win in penalties. Samrox went onto play girigoris in round 4 beating him 4 - 3.

Girigoris was pushed to the lower bracket but pulled out of GCFL due to exams. Girigoris had beaten Wolverine and later managed to beat Viktor in a penalty shootout in round 3 which pushed Viktor into the losers bracket.

Viktor has had a bumpy ride so far in the tournament. His first match against Death Stryke was a 3 - 2 win which sent Death Stryke to the lower bracket. Viktor lost his round 2 match to girigoris which pushed him into the lower bracket where he faced and won against iFiboy. Viktor faces Death Stryke in the quarter finals match after Flashbullet pulled out of the tournament due to personal reasons.
