So game 1 we had 5 DC's and every1 was fed up with it. Fear was ahead on the hero kills. After that niros save file got corrupt and finally captains decided to play a winner takes all game and that is goin to start any minute now

Both teams have agreed to play Bo1 to choose winner - so winner of this game goes into the GCDL Grand Finals.

FEAR 1 won and will go through to the Grand Finals.

That was THE SADEST game I've EVER played in my life. We finished a 45 min game in a ground breaking record time of 6 hours, yes I just said 6 hours.... And why did all this happen? WE DIDNT HAVE TENSA HOSTING!

In the end FEAR 1 won fair and square - there was only 1 reload in the last game which was the decider. Huge upset - FEAR vs Toxic finals is not something *I* was expecting xD... huge props to FEAR for pulling that off

Well in all honesty i really didn't know which team would come to the grand final. Both FEAR 1 and WDF are equally matched IMO. Prolly the most interesting game so far in GCDL S2 where WDF won over FEAR by 1 hit to the main proved how close it could get.

It's a pity that the best of 3 couldn't decide the winners but such is life i guess. Hats off to Mark and the boys for pulling it off and to Mimi for putting up a more than decent fight.

ESL play offs tmrw (FEAR1 / WDF / T0X1C) will be interesting enough and will give some good practice and a build up for the GCDL grand finals.

And tmrw will give WDF another shot at FEAR1 although it won't affect the GCDL matchup

Yea I was proven wrong yesterday night Too bad we couldn't go the whole 3 rounds, I'm sure it would have been nail bitingly close.

sorry rav its not an upset lol....FEAR1 and WDF are almost equally matched....that match previously in the WB semis where it came down to the wire proved that FEAR were as good as WDF...just that WDF was better on the day.....but I was observing at elements...and Fear were too good in the effective semis this time around...WDF came up with some nice ganks and counter-ganks but FEAR were unstoppable this game....maybe it was cos zapper was pissed off due to about 10 reloads during the 4 hour period lol  ...
I really think it was cos of WDF's lack of intel spell casters, such as lion and lich, who weren't banned, that Fear got an early advantage.....and mark again showed us the power of jakiro....who really is underrated in this version....but I guess the way we play, with an overdependence on the agility carry heroes...hes pretty much a very good pick....especially for forest ganking and saving.....and viren debuted puck in this tourny...very nice puck this game....imba orbs, coils, phases and rifts.....udesh finally went armlet after I started screaming at him ......ryan played a sexy tide and zapper's medusa was wicked man as we are accustomed to seeing from him...
niro played a sexual vengy.....saving his teammates and doing some nice ganks many a time....mimi (axe) was kept in check throughout early-mid game by some excellent comboing by mark and udesh top lane...pasan (viper), twiggy (drow) and kasun (DK) played well under the circumstances as well...but as was seen in the picks....it was very much a late game build up with decent ganking potential from WDF..whereas FEAR had a well-balanced team, ready for any phase of the game...primarily for early-mid game with some late game firepower from the likes of medusa and leoric.....Fear also had the advantage from general AoE heroes such as tide and puck...something that WDF (apart from axe's call) lacked .....
This time Fear outpicked and outplayed WDF....but to tell the truth...WDF still retain number 3, had one heck of a good campaign this tournament and we all expect WDF to bounce back with a vengeance in the ESL........good luck mimi and the boys
