Check ikman, there are few shops who are selling used 120GB/240GB drives from aussie. I recently purchased two 2TB hard disk from them, and they were in decent shape (as in no bad sectors, and usage time low). I did the same for my old 2012 iMac. it was dog slow and kids could not use it as after mojova it was optimized for SSD. Since iMac internal drive requires removing the display, etc i opted for the USB 3 route with a 60GB drive, and yes made a world of a change.Same was done for the ageing Thinkpad X240, upgrading the RAM to 8GB and added a M2 ssd as the bootable.. and its as good as a machine that is 3 generations newer for day use purposes.
What is your budget? Cos there are stores in Unity that will sell u the Adata SU650 (which is a solid device) for 5k/120 or 7.5k/240
Get the 240G OCZ from here : https://gamer.lk/forum/index.php/topic,40069.0.html OCZ > Adata any day of the week + twice the capacity... Ask him for the health status of the drive and you should be good to go
