For maximum transparency we are publishing the process which we used to come up with this seasons draw for GCDL. This is just to keep everyone informed - this isn't up for discussion.

Registered teams were seperated into three broad skill categories - 1, 2 and 3. The categorised teams are as follows:

Category 1:
Toxic
FEAR 1
Death Company 1
WDF

Category 2:
FEAR 2
Death Company 2
Mara Nondiiyak Meka
Asylum
The Shining Mist
Guardians of Death
Ministry of Darkness

Category 3:
FEAR 3
FEAR 4
Haunted
Ultimate Gamers
DOTA Heroes

With these unofficial rankings, each team was inserted into the draw so that highly ranked teams will meet only at the latter stages of the tournament. This was done using the "Tournament Bracket Builder" algorithm.
