Job Overview
The Head of Content will be responsible for working with the media team to create engaging Esports content. The content required will span audio, video and text mediums for news, reviews, community building and marketing purposes. The content will be distributed primarily on digital, with some content being used on non-digital platforms. This is a full time position.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Leading the content team
• Working with graphics designers, video editors and multi-language writers holistically to output complimentary content
• Creating content strategies for Esports initiatives
• Managing GLKs Esports social media portfolio
• Managing GLKs Esports web properties
• Article writing - English medium
• Basic graphics design
• Directing video content
• Content team performance analysis
• Conceptualisation of new content strategies
• Overseeing digital advertising (Facebook, GDN etc)
• Assisting with event production
• Digital campaign performance analysis
• Handling GLKs brand image and outlook
• Handling recruitment for content team
• Skill augmentation for content team
• Enforcing brand guidelines

The ideal candidate

• Has a strong interest in video games
• Has a strong interest in Esports
• Prior experience in a professional digital media capacity
• Preferably has experience in running paid digital campaigns
• Leadership skills
• Creative, innovative streak is a must
• Proactive, motivated and a can do attitude
• Strong attention to detail
• Willing to go the extra mile to reach new heights
