Increment of PING
« on: January 03, 2019, 08:52:53 am »
I am using SLT ADSL connection. Since one year I had stable ping of 45-50 in COD4 but recently I am getting 75-80ms PING.There are no any background processes. I already tried with a different PC, the result was the same. Does anyone know what is the reason? Please Help me

this can happen due to various network related things. if you have a trace-route command executed before the ping increase and another one after it , the two results can be used to diagnose the issue. i don't think you have a previous result taken as a screenshot or as a log.

if you are experiencing lag then you better change to a different server but at 80ms i don't think you have that. usually COD servers and alike kick players who have more than 200ms (max would be 300ms).

I am also seeing an increase in ping roughly 10 to SG servers and 30 to EU servers. I did manage to reduce ping by around 3 by runing a fan blowing into the garbage zte fiber router slt gives xD

SLT probably using another route it might change back to normal in few months or they started using huawei routers and now copy of all network traffic goes to china xD
