PC not booting.
« on: May 13, 2017, 09:01:18 pm »
Hi,

Have a problem with my pc starting up. No display and signs of startup. The processon, MB and VGA is running.
Tried shifting the display to the motherboard onboard VGA to check if there is any problem with the VGA card but still the same result.

Would appreciate any help or suggestions.

Have you been messing around with your BIOS? Try clearing CMOS

Hi,

Thanks for replying. I have not been meddling with bios nor the board. I just dusted my pc today and had been getting the error this since then.

Could you assist me on how the cmos clearance needs to be done.

Refer your motherboard manual for the location of the CMOS jumper, it's just a matter of switching jumper positions. If that does not work, I'd suggest you try a different power supply. Usually the power supply is the likely culprit for voltage issues, albeit it could be something else.

Tried the jumper shifting but dint work. Perhaps I will have to try with a different PSU
In case ir the issue persists even with a different PSU what should I do next?
Or should I take it to redline technical dept and check with them?

If you have a spare PSU handy, then give it a go. If not, take it to Redline, those chaps can diagnose just about anything :D
