Anyone Interesting in starting a group for sharing games file and movies?
Everyone knows what a pain it is to download things here in SL. And I know you can get some game files from redline. but those are for original games and not everyone is that rich to buy original copies. And I don't think it's reasonable to sell pirated copies.(Which I know some guys here do. so sorry about that.)

Well Anyway,
I got

• Battlefield 3
• No Man's Sky
• WItcher 3
• AC:Unity
• Mad Max
• Cities Skyline
• Far Cry 4

and bunch of other small ones.

And a whole lot of movies. So if anyone want something, let me know

If someone wants, I can contribute with about 400GB of installers spanning 6-7 years.

I can contribute about 1.24TB of game installers and files. I had a topic somewhere with game list. So I'm not gonna post it here again.

I can download whatever y'all want so long as the file size is less than 100GB. No explicit stuff, other than that games, movies, programs, anything is fine.

Btw, can we bring all the files to one central place? like what will it take for us to essentially set-up a wireless sharing network for the files?

That would negate the initial purpose of what you proposed, since any sort of FTP server would require us to use up bandwidth downloading the games from the server, and would also bring all sorts of legal considerations that will not be easy to sort out, even more so in the event it receives a C&D. It would be easier and safer for us to just torrent the games instead.

I understand your concerns. But that's not what I'm proposing. Can we set up a simple network shared folder for people to upload and download files. And it would be a local network. So no unnecessary data usage. And for the legal issues, we're just setting up a free sharing platform. We're not responsible for what the users upload.

This is somewhat Off-Topic but I'm looking for Blu-Ray / 1080p copies of some specific movies - should I post the list in Classifieds (I'm willing to pay) , is there a Requests thread or would this be a good place to post ém up?
