If you have any doubts just pay the down payment and pay the rest when the item is shipped to Sri lanka safe and sound .
I bought my GPU the same way .they took sometime (3-4 weeks) but it was reliable .

With Kapruka I usually go in person.
Request the quote anyway over the web or phone & see how the Tax works out.
Andrea is one of the managers there -she's usually quite good - as to speak to her if the tax seems a little steep.
Be patient - their delivery times are usually under 30 days from the order date. Don't hold any expectations for it to come sooner & you won't be frustrated!

I keep asking them to introduce a Faster Shipping surcharge for those who need items quickly (and are willing to pay). Maybe if more people ask for it they might implement.

We could also start a thread here and if there are enough orders we might be able to bring the cost of faster shipping down too...

i checked yesterday, price is actually reasonable i think  , better than amazon shipping anyway

find someone with an aramex shop and ship account.
faster shipping and sometimes the taxes are more reasonable.
