But I would advice to stay away from the EVGA 10x series cards as they have been catching fire.
Is there a place to buy EVGA GTX 1050/1050ti in sri lanka? please mention prices if you know. Thanks
as far as I know there's no vendor for EVGA in SL. I might be wrong. But I would advice to stay away from the EVGA 10x series cards as they have been catching fire.it's only been happening to EVGA cards. So I would suggest do some research before going for EVGA.I was gonna go for a themed system and go for all ASUS components but upon doing some research I found out that the ASUS cards have a lower clock speed but are priced higher. So I went with ZOTAC instead.this has some useful info:https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/17GtR91NnYElh1wnCOw89c1MdKnUbSxYAlr7dV7ydeDw/edit#gid=0
I very much doubt the RMA rates shared here, especially when it's shared by someone with vested interest in promoting PALIT. & Palit may own Gainward. but Gainward and Palit aren't the same cards.
Why do people these days have a fixation for clocks? You can download MSI afterburner and adjust clocks.
Palit doesn't 'own' Gainward. They are one and the same, made in the same factory and sold by the same people. Palit owns Galax and sells to PNY (among others), so while they might share coolers, PCBs and technologies, they may differ in certain ways. The only way that Palit and Gainward cards differ are in clock speeds. Take a look at any review with a teardown and see for yourself EDIT:If you're feeling lazy. Here's the compatibility list for the EK-FC1080 GTX JetStream Backplate.https://www.ekwb.com/configurator/waterblock/3831109831649Here are the two PCBs.
