This one is used to overclock your mouse
i have used this few times, it works like a  babe. the refresh rate of the mouse can be increased using this application. i overclocked from 125HZ to 1000HZ and wow, mouse movement became so much smoother, but my mouse got stuck few times which freaked me out, so recommended amount is 500HZ this is also used by pro gamers. example= fnatic f0rest

theres simply no use in using these unless it gets allowed thats why i aint using any

IMO it should be allowed at tourneys as this is NOT a hack, i mean cmon! It will be like forcing a mouse sensitivity value for every player LOL.

Mind you the fix is required ONLY for those who still experience mouse acceleration after unchecking "enhanced pointer precision" under the windows mouse pointer settings. Sometimes there's a bug that keeps mouse acceleration even after unchecking it and this registry fix corrects that issue. I personally had no problems with it, it turned off fine for me when I switched it off in control panel

Question, do these work only for usb mice or is compatible with ps/2 mouse.(I really need to invest sum money for a good mouse )

USBMRS11 clearly overclocks your USB port (bit obvious). My question is, does it overclock all USB ports, or just the one your mouse is hooked up to? Because I dont think other USB devices support ultrapolling (USB OCing)...

And Im quite sure its allowed in competitions... Its not something that only a few people do... Most people with a half decent gaming mouse overclock their USB ports, so its highly unlikely that its illegal.

Oh, and Im guessing you're using a G5 or MX518... Those are designed to run at 500Hz polling rates, but not 1000Hz.. Some razers and more expensive logitechs are guaranteed to support 1000Hz (IIRC)....

for those of us who use linux to play CS, theres a small nifty command that does the accel. trick.
open the terminal and type "xset m 0 0"

Dude, I'm using an MX518 as well and I overclocked it to just 500Hz (to be on the safe side) and it's worked fine for me O_o

That said, when I first read about USBMRS11, people (MX518 users) had said in ALOT of places (forums) that the MX518 could NOT be overlocked past the standard 125Hz polling rate  so i had my doubts when trying it on mine... but hey presto! It overclocked to 500Hz easily and has been working smoothly and flawlessly ever since

Mind you I only bought the mouse about a month back, so maybe Logitech have been upgrading their hardware components abit... Who knows? Just a thought.
