You may be able to get a TP-Link Archer C5 for around 15K through Kapruka; If not though, a TP-Link N600 TL-WDR3500 through Barclays costs around 11K. Both are Dual Band routers, but the Archer C7 has two USB ports (For sharing printers or external storage) and also has 802.11ac.

why would you need such expensive one?? high data transfer rate router for SL connections are pure waste. you will not be able to experience the full potential until up to a considerable amount of years. I suggest you to get 300Mbps(which is kinda too much too) router with atleast 2 high gain antennas( 3 is better since you have a sizeable budget), dual band supported(only comes in handy if you live in urban).. other than that there is no point of wasting extra Ks on a router.

For me it's worth it since I have a central NAS for backups and also for central file storage, about ~20 different devices connected to the network as well as having a sprawled out house with too many cement walls :P. Ethernet would be ideal but I'm against running wires all over so high data transfer rates over WiFi are essential. I'm also looking at later on adding a NAS/HTPC  for media streaming so obviously the local network needs to be robust enough to cope. But yeah, I do agree that this is certainly a very heavy use case; for most people what you described is more than sufficient.

I only mentioned the Archer C7 because it delivers outstanding features for the price. The N600 is the cheapest Dual-band router I could find in SL; please let me know if you can find something cheaper!
