The same issue exists with an Asus Strix, Gigabyte G1 and MSI Gaming. Maybe 4 of the top 5 in the world have that problem. Or maybe it's Nvidia ;)

The system works fine with a GTX 750Ti, GTX960 and a Titan X. So yes, It's an issue with the GTX 970.

I'll probably get a Polaris chip. Nvidia is a nightmare with drivers.

Interested in a 280X? I just got a replacement from TitanTech, should you have any problems they'll issue you replacements for another year.

get a asus mobo...  problem solved with 15k bucks,, and sell ur gigibit mobo.. gigibit was better 775 era untill they change capacitor supplier,, asus was ok back then, but now asus is back... ur too lazy to take ur pc apart..

Yea I know the failure rate of Asus motherboards vs Gigabyte and you can't tell me otherwise until you sell a 1000 motherboards a year. No thanks.

NOPE GIGABYTE ONE OF TOP RELIABLE BRAND  AGAINST ASUS ,ASUS TOPNOCTH BRAND BUT AFAIK FAILURE RATE IS HIGH(not the highest)

yah... most of guys put cheapy psu and electrical systems with pc's, asus cannot stand with faulty electrical systems... dats what i learn from my experience...

so u sell 1000s of boards per year, y don't u talk to gigabyte and get a replacement board...another model....

you should consider switching to gigabyte because it can handle any electrical system pretty well. :)
