Hmm yea,but i do learn from them  ;D but then again its my badluck!

How did you manage to do that ???????

Apparently i only wanted to install a clean copy to C: Drive but win 10 wanted to create an additional partition a "System one" to make sure it  ran fine~! so therefore we can have only max 4 partitions including that 500mb system partition....i already had 4 so therefore windows did not create and additional partition i have to delete one of my other partitions,i already deleted C and could not go to windows to check what partition to delete,i wanted to delete F: Drive and though the drives were in the alphabetical order, well i was wrong and therefore deleted my D: Drive where my life was stored!

Don't you have an SSD? What partitions are you talking about? Is Windows installed on your HDD?

Anyone had trouble doing a clean install with uefi? I downloaded the ISO using the media creation tool and burned to a DVD and tried bolting, it didn't work... Then I tried with Rufus even that didn't work..

your partitions might have created in MBR way...choose legacy mode in BIOS > boot options

Its still on the way~!
My hard has 4 Partitions neh? Local Disk C: and blah and blah so there were 4 of those made? ight~ and windows 10 wanted to create an addition partition called System so i already had 4 partitions and apparently 4 partitions is the max u can make and that extra could not be made my only chance was to delete a partition!
I already deleted C: Drive (CUZ i was lazy to format it and install just delete and create a new partition) so becuz of that i could not goto windows and select what partition i had to delete,i knew my F: Drive was useless with Steam Games and some project files,so i planed to delete that and thought maybe the partiton were held in an alphabatical order so i made my deleted a another partition! When WIN 10 installed and i went to check it was my D: Drive with all my TV series and movies.....i just screamed since there was nothing to else to do

1st of all..my deepest sympathies for your loss(data)! :P ...dude!...if you cant remember which partition has how much space left...blah blah...you should've taken a snapshot from your phone or whatever..you just simply cant expect to see your partition drive letter nor order be there on windows installation...letters and sh*t are for our own sake..so now you know!... 450GB+ data loss it kinda quite reason to commit suicide! LOL! .. :D all those GB's,money,time...sh*t man..anyways..from now on..

just asking!..haven't you done a reformat before? o.0

shit happens. especially this type of shit happened to me twice. honestly I haven't understood quite clearly how you lost your data,

but I still believe you might be able to recover most of them if you haven't done a full format. there is a "deep scan" or "full scan" option in most of recovery software, you might try one installed on usb drive/ext.hdd to scan your disk.

ofcourse the file names will be weird  and they may show up as "RAW" files, but actual contents may be still intact. you can try recovered files by opening with media players (your movies/tv) or you can guess by the size of files. I recommend to try this with easeus recovery software.

I think its too much data to recover,as i wanted to help my friends giving them fims, but though ill just download the films and tv series i haven't watched!

I know, but it only take some time to scan, but recovery is actually as fast as your hdd can read (I have had successfully recovered 160+ gb of data from same f*** up like yours before), and it's more money and time saving than downloading again.

btw, if you only miss them because you couldn't give them to friends, then it's upto you. :P

that's the last resort..BUT..not really practical..maybe if he started to recover now..he will get his 450GB+ or atleast 200GB+(considered explicitly required) by end of this month.. :D ... but since you haven't overwritten your sectors at all after the incident...

@ vEnGaNcE GaMeR ..but you can always try that method..since you've lost quite a lot of GBs
