You fussed about them being used~! and warrenty and shipping back
Oh Yeah, I remember now.Well yeah, Buying from Kapruka itself is a risk (even new items out of the box shipped from the supplier cna be faulty), and buying used is just an extra risk.Glad it worked out though.
Wouldn't claiming warranty then entail you to ship it back to the US (or wherever EVGA operates)? And then wouldn't that cost quite a bit? I'm just curious. I've actually almost never claimed warranty on anything, So I too would prefer to get it from abroad where it's cheaper. Although I can see where warranty would be important.. More and more electronics seems to get faulty nowadays.
true. evga would be pricier.
i look forward for RL to be appointed as an agent for EVGA, u___u my days in this post is done ciao!btw kapruka is just full of shit!..just noticed that my wax buffer (bought it off from amazon) cub moulding melted and i tried calling Kapruka but the chick over the phone was just trying to sell me bullshit about their return policy (took me almost 2 months to get get it - Sea Freight) and it didn't last for a week, this dumbwit told me that i cant claim it because blah..blahhmight as well meet them tomorrow with my shit
The more you know
I mean it by the international prices, if you guys can somehow work magic and bring evga cards on cheaper than zotac prices here in lk, that would be awesome. until I see some actual cards on the shelves with cheaper than zotac prices here, I seriously doubt that.
The current Zotac prices. Of course if there is a stronger brand in the market with competitive prices EGS will quickly drop prices. It's the "milk'em while you can" principle. If you want an example to clear you doubt, Here you go. Redline is currently the direct distributor for Sapphire and we sell the R9 390 Nitro - A $339 card - for Rs 56,000/=Know what else sells for $339?
Insta buy at this price, btw does TZ even bring down 900 series at all? last week went to TZ in Kandy to inquire about the 900 series and the guy there didn't knew a thing about 900 series and tried to sell me that 750Ti is the best card out there atm
xD same here!
