Also, I can give you one more reason. EVGA in the right hands could be cheaper than Zotac
could be cheaper than Zotac
since evga has a proper international warranty coverage do we really needs a local vendor? both of my cards evga gtx 670 and 970 is via from the net and its been approximately 10k cheaper than any local vendor.
Wouldn't claiming warranty then entail you to ship it back to the US (or wherever EVGA operates)? And then wouldn't that cost quite a bit? I'm just curious. I've actually almost never claimed warranty on anything, So I too would prefer to get it from abroad where it's cheaper. Although I can see where warranty would be important.. More and more electronics seems to get faulty nowadays.
well this is kaprukas reply about claiming something
That seems like it would add up to at least around 8-10k? (For a GPU, the import costs are quite a lot)Well, One can always hope their items aren't faulty :p
Can ya remember the last holidays my whole PC from amazon,no faults at all Trusted sellers wise choice! and you disapproved about getting from there
Really? I Disapproved? That's odd, I actually don't mind getting things from Kapruka. If/when I have the cash I'd probably get it down as well (So long as there's a sufficient margin in pricing when compared to local prices)
no faults and trusted sellers dont mean that they wont ever fail. the risk is the same.
