Hey guys... you all know that star movies is discontinued in here. you think that they will continue it again ? if they do under what carrier ? Dialog or Peo ?

Both Star Movies and Star Movies HD are available in Dish TV.

and btw man, i would go for dialog or a dish would be nice but to keep in mind is whether you'll get coverage for dish and trust me, PEO Tv is total shit and the f***ing internet too :P disappointed about their service and all (dunno about dialog because never had a setup box from them) plus i've met a cool dish guy whos really friendly to his customers and so far no problems with it

TV is needed if you are into sport.

By the way if anyone is buying and has a HD TV, get the Dish TV HD pack. Totally worth it. They have 30 plus HD channels for Rs. 1300/- per month. It has Star Movies HD and few other HD movie channels as well. Plus they have Star world HD, Discovery HD, Nat Geo HD, and all the HD sports channels. For Rs 1500 you can get two HBO HD channels as well if I am not mistaken.

Dish TV > Dialog, Peo.

I have Dish TV and also the Sri Lankan channels. Our dish guy did some modifications and we get the local channels in Dish Tv. :) And all just for 1300 per month.

I used Videocon (which is pretty much Dish TV). we're actually kind of feeding off indian TV, it's better than what sri Lanka has to offer though. So the people in Sri Lanka help you set it up and you pay for your subscription with a small fee for them

These are the people I use to reload my connection, Not sure if they help with setup though. But give them a call and find out

:P yea, every dish provider in sri lanka tunes to indian channels which is totally annoying because of the stupid advertisment and no you dont have to link them by yourself, he'll do it for you
plus i've seen a hell lot houses with rust on the dish receiver( i think you call them that) which is totally an extra cost you'll have to pay to coat them again and the rain, omfg the rain which kicks right in between your legs everyday it starts
