The starting prices are for the cheapest currently available R9 200 series and GTX 900 series cards - The R9 270 and the GTX 960.

The Viper is compatible with the R9 270, 270X and the R9 280. While the Sniper is compatible with the GTX 960 and 970 (or a 960Ti if that materializes). New systems compatible with a wider range of Radeon cards will be available soon (Y)
