What are the good headsets from 3k to 7k?

You need earphones or headphones? And what do u need it for music or gaming?

SteelSeries Siberia v2 is a great option. I think you will be able to find a pair around 6-7k on gamer or ikman.

Thanks bro. I've been wanting to get Sennheiser CX213 but after I read the article, I thought of going for the Sennheiser MM30G w/Mic.

Will it be good for gaming? It has a mic too which can be really useful for online gaming.

Most of the headphones suggestions at readme.lk are terrible.Get the Koss Portapro for 6.5k.Its uncannily comfortable and sound quality is legendary(wayyyyy better than a Sennheiser MM30G)-YOu can enjoy some music too.

I'm not sure u understand how the reviews were done. It was done bang for buck. Meaning u get what u pay for. Koss is not good with gaming. I have used koss before on different models but they don't sum it up for gaming certainly not a fps brand. Koss is just expensive as skullcandy is just eye candy.

How much did Koss pay you for the ad?
On a side note, we have not documented headphones that don't come with a written, fixed price tag. I've seen Koss Portapros available, being peddled at different shops around MC at different times for wildly different prices. It's a very good pair of cans. But not as epic you make it sound - I'd say it's on par with an HD202, except warmer. Definitely not close to the Senn HD449, and therefore not the best under 11k.

@HellScrm if you're looking for something for online gaming, buying a w/mic combo won't do you much good, since you need a separate mic-in to  plug into your PC. Unfortunately, most gaming headsets have very poor audio quality compared to more audio-oriented headsets (they're way better than cheap stuff, just not as good as something from an actual audio brand, since some of those $$ goes into a) microphones and b) branding).

I'd say buy a lapel mic or a cheap desk mic (Rs 1000-1500) and pair that with, say, an AKG K77. Do not wear in-ears for online gaming, unless you want damaged eardrums.

If you're looking for an all-in-one solution, I'd say Logitech G230's are a decent buy. They do good positional audio, so-so music quality and are pretty hardy. I have a pair of G330s that are about 2 1/2 years old now and still working just fine.

On that note, I'd like to point out that the K77 now only costs Rs 6,000/=. That's just 500 bucks more than what we sold the K44 for.
