Best Laptop ?
« on: November 01, 2014, 03:27:40 pm »
Hey Gamers!

Noob here. Help me to pick a laptop. I have searched the internet and narrowed down my search to 4 laptops. But I'm having some tough time picking up the right one for me. I will be using this Laptops mainly for Programming(Visual Studio/Net-beans/ Eclipse), Photoshop, Web Surfing and maybe some COD4. The RAM and HDD space is not a main factor as I have a 4GB DDR3 ram which I will install to it at the shop. I need performance, Durability and maybe some portability. I know HP has it's issues but these are all i got

1. Dell Core i7 - 3542 (Abans)

2. HP Pavilion 15-N240TX (Barclays)

3. MSI GP60 2PE Leopard or MSI GP60-2PEi585 (Redline Technologies)

4. HP Pavilion 15-E033TX
   (http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?cc=us&lc=en&docname=c03772689)

or Suggest me a good one. Something below 125K LKR. I ain't efffing rich, that's why I have to nail this decision :/

Thank you! :)

The GP60 is the clear winner out of these.

Also check out the Gigabyte Q2556N V2. Identical specs to the MSI GP60 but cheaper.

At the price range you are looking at, MSI GP60 and Gigabyte Q2556N V2 are the best all round winners. Asus N series is great too but the i5 versions are not available locally.

The 3 big mobo makers build some of the best laptops.

MSI support is really astounding! :)
It would be, if we actually got all of the items in the bundle. The headphone and mouse weren't the ones advertised, no muse pads, no plushies and no free games for the 900 series graphics cards (both laptop and desktop).

I wasnt aware that the headset and mouse werent the ones provided. Really sorry for this if this was the case. Our HQ has provided some special bundles allocated for Sri Lanka for the past holiday.

As for other plushies (only selected countries have this) and games (also selected countries from Nvidia), I will try my best to get allocation. Thanks for the support again.
