Please disregard the two comments made before.
Thanks a lot for the reply Sabreen. I only wish some of your employees could be more like you. All we really wanted to do was advertise our business and that is it. One of your employees, Zer0,  started criticizing our business and we found this to be very unprofessional especially for the reputation you have build up.We did not intend to start an argument and were simply trying to advertise. We are extremely sorry if this created sort of confusion.

FYI, I'm a Director at Redline Technologies, and you can address me directly.

Regarding the criticism, I was pointing out the mismatch between your story (importing items from UK etc) and the featured video on your page. As a senior member of the community it's a responsibility to point out anything that isn't really what it seems.

All you needed to do was provide a valid explanation and not be hostile towards the company and people who helped get your little 'business' off the ground.

In response to Zer0, next time, before you come up with a conclusion, please make sure your facts are right and understand the purpose of the video. Instead of assuming what you think, cross check your facts, and then criticize

As has been clearly pointed out, my facts are correct and my conclusion was spot on. You haven't posted or done anything to convince anyone otherwise.

4. The PC you took, was not for your customer, it was for you. We customized it from head to toe and your mom paid for it. I was the one speaking with her. Kid.

Apologies if you had to wait a while for all the components to be gathered but if I recall correctly, whilst waiting for the parts, your mom kept on saying that the PC was to be used by you for "educational purposes" and to give a discount on all the items. Since you also bought the PC on a component basis and NOT as a fully assembled PC, we calmly explained to both of you that we are unable to give you a full cash discount but tried our level best to give you the best possible configuration for your "educational purpose" making sure you got bang for the buck performance, not a rupee more, nor a rupee less.

That being said, as Sabreen pointed out, keeping Rs. 5000/- per item as margins for us is a pipe dream. There's a small thing called a "reality check". You should invest in one.

If as you claim the PC was for your education, then how is it for one of your customers? Or are YOU the customer? Do you buy things and gift them to yourself?  :\.

I am addressing this to Sabreen who commented saying how "cute" he thought of me when i said he makes 5000 RS on each part. You told me the parts you are getting are not sold for a 5000 RS profit, than let's look at how much the R9 270 cost on your website compared to newegg.com, one of the most well-known computer part online store. Newegg sells the R9 270 for around 169 USD, equivalent to 21,500 on xecurrency. You sell this part for 28,000 on your website. Adding up the shipping fee and tax fee, you pay approximately 1500 RS more. This is makes the part 5000 RS more expensive than how much you spent to buy the part. This is only one example, and i did not choose it because it has the biggest margin, but because i recently purchased it for personal reasons.

Adressing Zer0. This build was the only build we have recorded and it was made for personal reasons. We have already had 2 customers and all the parts were shipped from the UK. Once again, the only reason we published this video is because it was the only build we have ever recorded.

Banana, I don't recall saying this was sold to a customer, but if i did it was a mistake, this computer was completely used for an educational purpose and wasn't and will never be sold

I went to redline last week to collect a FSP 300W for my friend. He bought the rest of the parts from Redline as I refereed him to them in the first place. We did some university project with them and got to know the people and I am very interested in Redline as a business case.
The thing I noticed is actually things have changed a bit. This is not me blaming or complaining but just giving my honest opinion for the benefit of the company. When I asked for the PSU i was told that stocks are out. But before I came I checked their Google spreadsheet which is supposed to be updated all the time so we can check before we come.
I usually check it everyday to be in touch with price changes as I am kind of fan of PC shops. I saw that there was a Green Y so I knew stocked had to be there. Instead of going away to another shop I asked again and got to know I could collect it from their warehouse near by. I get that the item was small and may not be profitable but if it was another customer would have gone to another shop.
I wanted to buy from you guys because I did not want my friend to face the same warranty crap issues like when I bought from those unity places.
The smiles and warm welcomes have reduced which I have to mention. May be you guys are also under lot of tension with all the things going on. Just keep that Redline spirit going. Gaming Products range wise its the best there is.

When one of our employee from Pelican Technology purchased computer parts from your shop, Redline Technology, we realized the boxes have not been opened yet. This can only mean the products have not gone through quality control.

Please tell me you're joking. This is Sri Lanka. We WANT our products in unopened boxes, thank you very much.

If you want my opinion, you're off to quite a bad start here on GLK. Parts shipped from the UK isn't a particularly impressive tagline - parts are expensive in the UK and shipping only takes time.

Good luck with your business.
PS: Dammit, Sabreen never told me I was cute. Now I feel rejected :P
