I have a question. As more people eventually get fibre, are the speeds going to drop and pings get higher?
From a business perspective I think that's highly unlikely, prices for fibre will go up and SLT will only cater for those who can afford it, to make sure they as a company will not be faced with a situation where they cannot cope with the demand for fast speeds. Its a simple case of demand and supply. Besides if SLT starts giving slower speeds than what is promised you can probably sue them
Hmmmm...Dialog do this with 4G though - saturate the bandwidth and end up providing crawler speeds. What's SLT's minimum contractually permitted speed?
Where do you live? SLT fixed fibre line along my road but they haven't started utilizing those lines .
after my standing order was cancelled for my mobile connection (automatic payment) they didn't set a credit limit, got a bill for over 16k.
