Raidmax PSUs are not as good as Corsair or Seasonic PSUs. So if you can afford one of those, by all means go for one.

But they are leagues better than most of the crap found in the local market. Notably Powerlogic, Armaggeddon, Delux, Great Wall and lower end Cooler Master (sometimes branded Thermal Master) units, along with all the unbraded Chinese junk.

If you want a comparison, Raidmax products are of similar quality to Inwin and mid range Cooler Master products (most Inwin and Raidmax products come from the same OEM, i.e. the Inwin Glacier 900W is the exact same PSU as the Raidmax RX-850AE).

Raidmax aint top notch like Seasonic,Corsair but it does the job done well. I'm using  the RAIDMAX AF 500W with my MSI GTX 760 OC. if the cash isnt an issue go for the better brand.otherwise go Raidmax. you'd be fine

Seasonic are an OEM. Corsair is a design house. Corsair designs stuff, and gets it built by whoever offers the best quality at the best price. So it's more than ''just putting their name on it". It's like an architect designing a building and getting a constructor to build it.

The better OEMs would include, Seasonic, CWT, Super Flower, Flextronics, Enhance, Chicony, FSP and even Delta.

Also a point to note is that being made by a top OEM is not a guarantee of quality. For example, some of Corsair's top PSUs come from Flextronics, a massive OEM. They are top notch products because Corair demands that level of quality from the OEM. However, there are some pretty mediocre PSUs coming from Flextronics as well.

An example outside PSUs would be Foxconn, who make the motherboards for Apple, which are top of the line quality, but made some crappy motherboards for Intel and under their own name.
