Sri Lanka dominating South Asia - joinDOTA League

26th of January saw the beginning of what is turning out to be one of the most intense and enjoyable DOTA leagues we’ve ever seen, and we’d be lying if we were to say our Sri Lankan gamers weren’t playing a big role in it.

In the first season, 3 Sri Lankan teams have been wreaking havoc in the following brackets

•   South Asia S.1
•   South Asia S.2
•   South Asia S.3

South Asia S.1

The Kade is representing Sri Lanka from this bracket, and what an absolute massacre they’ve managed. Undefeated in 8 matches, to top their bracket. Going 16-0 is no easy feat, but they’ve managed to pull it off splendidly. They’ve managed to go 2-0 on every single game they’ve played, and just walked right through the competition with ease, leaving them far behind.

They top their bracket with an amazing feat of 16 wins and 0 losses

South Asia S.2

Imminent Demise, although having a few rough patches, have tied for second place with the Bangladeshi team Worlds Best and the Indian team MeW.
They saw the beginning of the league with ease, racing past Playday 1 through 5 without losing a single game. Playday 6 resulted in a tie with World Best at 1-1, and they then went on to a crushing defeat to India’s V5. However they gained momentum again after defeating the Indian FMS for 2-0 and Playday 9 currently on the way against MeW, winning this 2-0 would put them on top of their bracket

Their current standing in their respective bracket is 2nd place with 11 wins and 3 losses

South Asia S.3

Lucifers Kids started the league off with a tie against Pakistan’s –Vnt(Y), however came back strong with two wins in Playday 2 and 3. Their streak was soon destroyed by Bangladeshi team RV in a 0-2 Loss. Being the resilient team that they are, they returned to win their next three matches flawlessly and ended the Playday’s with a tie against India’s vPUCKu

Ending the bracket with 12 wins and 4 losses, with a tie breakers against –Vnt(Y) for second place set for 30th march.

As of now, we are seeing Sri Lanka within the top teams from South Asia. Though we are missing the local champions - Tech Morph's Death Sentence in this league; previous champions - The Kade representing Phoenix Gaming is solidly highlighting their name.
