First off we have to thank the organizing committee for doing a great job! Their were many shortcomings but overall it was a pleasure to be present and taken part in this tournament. The only problem which was very visible was the time factor. We were running short of time and all the matches were delayed. The time slots given for each match was too short. It would've been better if we had 10am to 8pm.

First off, thanks for the feedback guys.

The changes in Fifa were made to compensate for the delayed start due to technical reasons. We regret having to do so but it had to be done. As for covering BMICH with posters; its not allowed. We were allowed only 20 items outside the hall area and they were all given to Intel.

We thought about extending the time, but due to financial restraints, we couldnt.

Next year will be bigger and better :)

ya. first a big thanks to all the orgernizers to finally come up with this. i hope this will continue every year (and improveing all along of course :D )

i parcitipated in this in order to support the event. i had to say that lot of GLK people didn't do that and that is a bad way to start something.

here's wa i experiance (participated in CS only)

[1]the opening knife thing was all of sudden changed to a coin toss (bad practice)
[2]the matches were delayed like 30 mins (bad)
[3]only the players were allowed to enter the game area. (excellent)
[4]didn't gave enough time to players to check the h/w , check the mouse sensitivity, change there handles etc. at least 5 min should be allow to each to to settle down (check h/w, change handles etc)
i suggest that if the particiapting person like to bring his/her own mouse, keyboard and hed set that should be allowd under supervision.

overall i did enjoy the event and it's was fun  . of couse lucky of us there was the car show too. so did enjoy the chicks there  ;D
i hope the next one will be more suceccfull than this one and attract more lager crowed (in terms of participation) .

Well, myself and csm101 were on the same team for CS and I think we have similar thoughts to share here. We had a great time there and believe it or not, we applied leave from office well in advance to come see / participate in the thingy :D So, that was the level of anticipation we had :D

As for feedback, I'd suggest a slightly larger main hall since towards the evening, it started getting really crowded and warm! :D would've been good if the cyber cafe area had boards demarkating them or something like that. Problem there was that since it was just to the left of the entrance, ppl started looking over machines there and crowded up the entryway. Further, it would be best if announcements were made over a mic since it was a bit hard to hear the teams being called due to the obvious noise. As for PC's, I'd suggest mouse pads next time please! ;) Was having a wonderful time with the A4 sheet slipping away :D Then came the little issue of ppl not knowing what was on sale and what wasn't :D The site said that there'd be merchandise available, so I thought I could get some of those t-shirts, but some of the officials there said that they were on sale and would be back, but some said they weren't. :D As for fund raising, it could be beneficial if the organizers reach out to the community here at GLK as well for anyone / any clan interested in providing compliments / wishes on the souvenir dvd or something like that at fixed rates. Finally, I'm not sure everyone would agree with me here, but when I played, there wasn't much time to get familiar with the settings on CS, so I'd suggest holding a practice / warm-up round or two for about 3 minutes or so.

Anyways, hats off to all the organizers, sponsors, participants and attendees. It was a great event for all gamers in SL and I truly enjoyed myself there. Hey, I met Rav there too! lol. :D Great stuff and let's look forward for a better and bigger SLCG '09.
