ok this is what that meter tells me..

Remaining from maximum possible Peak Download allocation -
13.5 GB

Remaining from Total allocation -
5.3 GB

shouldnt the Total allocation>maximum possible Peak Download allocation?

Forgive me Father, I have sinned.

That is 15.3gb right? Because Remaining from Total allocation Should be higher or equal than  possible Peak Download allocation -

So you have
Possible peak : 13.5gb
Total (peak + Off peak) 15.5

Let assume you had web family 35gb consist of 25gb peak + 10gb off peak
35gb -15.5gb = 19.5
You have downloaded 19.5gb

So you have 15.5GB left to download. But you can only download 13.5gb in peak time (0800 - 0000)
15.5-13.5 = 2gb.. can be only downloadable in off peak (0000-0800)

If you have any downloads do in off peak then both will become equal..

From what I heard, if u finish off your:
• Peak data (25gb for web-family) ur speeds will drop to 64kbps from 8am - 12 midnight but speeds will continue to remain high from 12 midnight - 8am  :)

and vice versa!   ;)

My opinion if this is true: working ppl might find themselves in trouble... ::)

I'm glad someone posted this question. They really should have let us know about the change in usage meter and also the extra data usage they gave us. Well, I know what I'll be doing for the rest of the month  ;D

How this is possible?
Peak is higher than Total allocation?
Normally i did most of the download off peak.. That what good practice right?

Now what
My brain hurts..

That's because you have 65% of your Peak usage remaining
And 39% of the total
Because most of your off peak is used, thats why the total is low

So do i have to download 2.8gb in peak? Other wise is it wasted??
I thought it is always better to download in offpeak.. That is what made my habit of getting up early and sleep early...

There's no "It's better to download in off peak"
Im guessing you have web family
So thats 35GB? Out of that, 25GB Is peak, and 10 GB is off peak
So , yeah it would technically be better to use the 10GB off peak to download, so that you can use the 25gb for normal browsing.

I  was thinking 35GB total.. But only 25GB can be used in peak hours..

Now there are two indicators

1) Peak Download Volume   Volume of data downloaded during peak times
2) Total Volume   Volume of data downloaded and uploaded during both peak and off-peak times

How remaining of 1 (Peak left gb) can be higher than 2 (Total left gb)? Too much confusion.. Now i have 16.2gb peak left and 12.5gb Total left... Downloading in peak will affect the total too.. In that case i will definitely loose  3.7gb?

I should not have done my downloads during peak times..

So does this mean that my internet speed will be reduced to 64kbps by the time my peak volume exceeds, and I'll only have full speeds during off peak hours ?

I thought that this extra 10GB offer was only a one-time thing, but it turns out it's permanent! Woohoo!

@mutantguy has a point! im confused too.  @kando u read only the percentages % but not the remaining allocated GB.

I guess best thing would be to contact SLT (Y)

I didn't contact SLT. But i have understood how it work..

This is how it works
Let assume you have webfamily 35GB where it allows only 25GB to be Used in peak time.

First bar show you the remaining peak capacity (with in 25GB)
This will only affect when ever your usage happens in peak time (0800-0000)

Second bar show you the remaining total capacity (with in 35GB)
This will affect any usage including peak and off peak

When one of your bar become empty (Doesn't matter which one). Your speed will reduced to 64 kiloBITS per second until next month reset (peak and offpeak).. 64kilobit per second is  8 kiloBYTE per socond which mean impossible to use any thing but some IM and weather applications

I should not have done my downloads during peak times..

So does this mean that my internet speed will be reduced to 64kbps by the time my peak volume exceeds,

Absolutely, You internet speed will be reduced to 64kbbs by the time peak volume become 0%. May be it would have right now :P

I'll only have full speeds during off peak hours ?

No you won't get full speed even in offpeak until next month. You will be snailed if one of the bar become empty. And snailing is common not separate for off-peak and peak
