I want what he's having

I got some thermal paste from a friend and he bought it at egs
Checked some temps it was hovering in the 60s
Which is weird as it was under a h100i gtx which works and not under any load
As the days went past the temps got higher and as of today the cpu was idling at 80c 
So i thought the cooler was dying
Removed the cooler and witnessed the thermal paste was a brown colour as if it had burnt
Now i have to get a new thermal paste and this was purchased at egs
U should make sure ur products wont damge other components
Lucky for me i wasnt pushing the cpu
So beware buying thermal paste (artic) from egs as it seems to be of horrendous quality

As far as we know u r the only guinea pig, we have sold so many n none had issues in addition we too are using it very frequently without any issues.

Also would like to know when your friend bought it ? since we cannot remember selling any recently.

I've been using the same Arctic Thermal Compound for more than 12 months and not had any issues.

Hi EGS, thanks for the reply, I bought this back in april. I gave about half of the tube to Vilan0502 after applying the paste for my old cpu and Janith's 5820K. I do not know what has gone wrong that the Paste has started burning.

I changed my cooler on my old rig so i cleaned the Arctic Silver 5 off and i used the pre-applied paste of the Subzero frost bite cooler so i have no way to check. Not sure if Vilan0502 ever used it as i threw it in with some stuff he bought from me.

i was the person who assembled janith's pc.
I've been applying thermal paste since i was 12 years old, the time i have been building pc's from, this is my fifth year now, i have never had problems like this, I have used cooler master paste and thermaltake paste before buying arctic silver 5 from you. I have never had such a bad experience. i clean my CPU with isopropyl alcohol when i clean old thermal paste.

I just had a look at the image in a enlarged mode i feel that the heat sink has not been properly fixed which should hv caused this. Also the thermal cannot spread out so much to the edge of both left n right side n in front.


Note : Also i can see lots of  air bubbles in this photo

EGS- Why aren't you replying to the questions raised regarding the conditions that are applicable to nvidea1060 pricing? Please specify them !

It's as if there is no transparency. 50k for a 1060 card is a good price but that clause about conditions indicates there is a catch.
