malli ova sellam weda nemei. One cannot simply convert digital to analog.
(that means what you are looking for is virtually non existent)

What exactly are you hoping to do with such a cable?

go to petta. 1st cross street.
try electronic shops on left side, millenium electronic or something is best,

and vickram plaza, first shop on right, small all cable shop. little bit high price.

and vikram plaza is right next to trans asia, it's a place for all electronic items, like unity for electronic..

Hey OP dont get fooled. You cant convert signals from hdmi to vga or av because hdmi is digital and av/vga is analog

dude then what is this?

http://online.barclays.lk/bc/itemdesc.asp?ic=12372&eq=&Tp=

anything can be convert to anything these days

http://www.hiconn.net/details.asp?id=284&p=126

these are not meant to be used with a pc. you cant convert hdmi to vga. hdmi is digital. vga is analog. you need an active converter to do that. you simply cannot use this cable and convert hdmi to vga. plus you are going to lose quality by doing that.

Even if you search hard and get a expensive active controller, the image is going to be blurry probably and the colors will be DEFINITELY lost

If you talking about traditional TV video out on CRT TVs, Then-

I think that is due to your sony tv do not support the video out format comes from the xbox.(same thing happened to me with a dvd player and a sony tv).
If that xbox can send the video signal in  PAL format the tv will show your the colours.(I think xbox is sending NTSC or unsupportable video signal to your TV).
(Most TVs in sri lanka support PAL video format).
