If I get a 4g sim for my 4g dongle ( yes 1800 supported) what are the connection fee's and will there be better pings from 3g

Is it me or have the speeds gone to shit? I just came back a few days ago and have been experiencing very slow speeds ever since. I did the Speedtest and I got exactl 4Mbps and 1Mbps down and up respectively. I call up technical support saying I usually get at least 15 down but they said that the advertised speed was 4 and that's what I'm getting. I'm like wtf. Is this just me?

I did 2 speed tests just now and got 16mbps down on first test and 28mbps down on the second test with 4mbps upload on both.  Where do you live? and how long has it been since you got the connection?

More than a year now.
I notice that I'm only get one bar of signal on my router. Usually get 3 or 4. Maybe I should tell them to come check it?

Have you moved the router around to see if you get more signal bars? also do the speed test with multiple devices, my laptop rarely gets over 30mbps while my phone easily gets about 40mbps most of the time.  If you still dont get good speeds it might be your router, call them and ask if they can replace it with a newer model.

I have exactly the same problem. They want to fix an outdoor unit (antenna) to see if they can boost my connection but that'll cost like 20K. I'm in Borella btw, near the golf club. I can get about 7mbps down on a good day but nothing like the crazy speeds some guys here are getting :/
