 Im new to this private tracker thing and it seems impossible to have a 1.0 ratio with my 512kbps connection. Will I get banned from torrentday if I try to fake the speeds ? or are there any good undetectable ways ?

Just keep your torrent running for fer days. this will give you bonus points. redeem them for upload.
best way to earn bonus point is download 5 or 6 very small torrent (less than 2mb ) and let it alive all the time.

This is what I do.
Don't cheat. Eventually you will get yourself banned and risk a country ban on all Sri lankan IP ranges.
