« on: December 19, 2011, 03:55:22 pm »
Guys i have an Onboard Motherboard with onboard soundcard, from yesterday my sound ports are not working :\ (mic, speakerz etc ports not detecting) Does this mean i have to replace a new sound card? :S
Is it possible that the sound card of an onboard motherboard spoil individually? :S

If it is onboard.. Yes, there is a chance of individual malfunction. U may find it difficult to replace it unless its a PCI sound card.

On the contrary try updating the drivers, re-installing them (better if u completely delete the previous drivers thru the control panel)

Hope it helps!!

most probably driver issue. uninstall current ones, reboot and install latest ones via inet. i cant think of any reason why all ports went off and haven't experience it either. and your on board sound card is wy better than cheap used ones. or go for a good brand, audigy, m-audio ect.
