im using CS 1.6 v 40 and i edited da xfire_games.ini as u said and wen i goto installed location it doesnt show da file....i thnk maybe its coz of da batch file....can u help me out wth ths ??

i dnt knw hw the 1.6 v40 works its launch from direct exe or smiting? u can edit it also figure it out

by the way...its easy if u put copies of exe files where xfire request..so dont hv to worry about the updates..thats easy..works fine..

A friend of mine too had problem with the CS 1.6 v40, but he did manage to edit the files but it still doesn't show when he plays CS :S
