Have an update for you. Dell has agreed to ship us the SE2717H Freesync monitor. Expected availability is late December and the price will be under Rs 40k. I'll share more details when our order is finalized.
It's the maximum refresh rate that the monitor can display. This is independent from the amount of FPS the system can get.
Ok. That means the mention monitor can reach more than 60 fps if there is a capable gpu in the system. Right?
Yes. The difference is that if you have a 60Hz monitor, your game running at 60 FPS and 100+ FPS will look the same. Having a monitor capable of a higher refresh rate will enable you to experience a higher framerates.
