Rightnow there is a war between actvition and EA dice. Its all about who wins "game of the year 2011"
There are far too many good reasons to say BF3 will be the one winning. In every aspect we can see MW3 is falling down with its graphics, gameplay.  Also it looks-like MW2 expension rather than a new game.  Even in the MW2 if you remember that the sinlgeplay campain was halted just to made up MW3.
                     All these actvision money milking stratagies brought the cod franchise to a cliffhanger that it will loos all its glory. It says that former employees who built cod2,cod4 are not there.
               Then whats up with BF3? Whole gameplay,graphics content ,audio making this game to overrun cod in almost every way possible.
              In the end ACTVISION will endup like this,

Hmm... console port of a 4 year old game vs purpose built Dx11 PC game... really hard choice there...

BF3 pwns MW3 in every way possible all MW3 has now are the cod fanboys and the multiplayer element which is a bit faster paced than BF3.

just supporting your statement on why MW3 cant usurp BF3.

i dont really care which is better, i want to play both of them. perhaps after i do that, then i'll make my decision. no point in making it now, when all we have to go on is stats and traliers... as far as MW2 vs BF2 is concerned, they were both thoroughly engaging but i'll have to admit BF2 had better gameplay, although i did enjoy the array of weapons that MW2 had to offer

Frankly BF3 is much realistic with vehicles, better weapons, and all,

but the run-and-gun fun factor of CoD just kicksass


Critics usually favour better technology as well. Frostbite 2 is just perfect.

activision only have the COD series that really stands out from the rest, while ea have crysis, BF, NFS, and all those ea sports games that keeps those sports lovers entertained. when doing a comparison like this, u have to take into account how much success the company is having to develop their games further. and u have to admit that although activision may win in COD MP mode, ea will definitely have more money to play around with. that being said, its no big surprise that BF3 will be better than MW3 when it comes to game content, but MW3 will obviously do better in MP
